Bio
Daniel grew up as a missionary kid in Brazil and first served at Pioneer Bible Camp in high school. He has degrees in Mechanical and Systems Engineering and has worked over 9 years in the aerospace industry. Nicole grew up in New Hampshire where her family attended a church that supported Steve and Rhonda Ransom. She studied Culinary Arts and Pastry and grew a love for Pioneer Bible Camp and Utah while serving a culinary internship at camp in 2014. Daniel and Nicole met while serving on summer staff at Pioneer Bible Camp in 2016. After that summer, they both felt the call to move to Utah and were married in 2018. They continued to volunteer at Pioneer Bible Camp as work schedules allowed, often serving as head cooks.
In 2023, both Daniel and Nicole began to sense that the Lord was leading them into full-time camp ministry. They served an internship at Pioneer Bible Camp the summer of 2024. Daniel now serves in the role of Operations Director while Nicole serves as Hospitality Coordinator. They also lead the Catalyst program, working with the teen summer staff each summer to disciple and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. Through the Lord’s leading and direction, they are trusting that He will provide the family’s desire to focus on Pioneer Bible Camp full-time through financial support.
