JOB DESCRIPTION

Catalyst Teens

Catalyst teens serve behind the scenes in the following areas: kitchen, grounds, housekeeping, and program. Teens also have the privilege to come alongside a counselor as their prayer partner. In addition, they may have the opportunity to co-counsel or join the kitchen staff for a week or two.

Attend Staff Training Week

PBC asks each teen to participate in the Staff Training Week at the beginning of the summer. The week of training is invaluable as we cover our policies and procedures, conduct self evaluations, learn staff responsibilities, participate in team building activities, and hear from God’s Word.

Time Commitment

After completing the training week, each teen is expected to participate in one half of the summer’s program; applying the principles taught during training and weekly class times is essential to the program’s success. Each teen will also have a PBC staff member meet with them one-on-one for times of encouragement and accountability.

The dates for serving are below:

  • Entire Summer: June 8-August 7

  • First half: June 8-July 10

  • Second half: June 8-12, July 13-Aug 7

If for some reason you need to miss a week or two during your selected time period, please let us know during the application process.
